| Abstract: | Two types of baited pitfall traps with standardized food attractants (alpha-pinene, 96% ethanol and water) were compared in monitoringHylobius abietis (L.) populations at several localities in southern Bohemia (Czech Republic). The smaller type (volume 1 l)) proved less useful in comparison with the larger type (volume 15 l).
