| Abstract: | To induce roots,the shoots by tissue culture were cultured on 1/2 MS 0.5mg/L NAA 15% sucrose 0.6% agar in bottles or transplanted in vermiculite. Results showed that the seedlings in bottles formed short and fine roots with fewer root hairs,and the leaf was thin,yellow and no gloss. The seedlings cultured in stead of bottle produced long and thick roots with more root hairs and the leaf was thick and dark green. However,the percentage of shoots capable of forming roots was higher in bottle than non bottle culture. |
