| Abstract: | Production performance and seed quality of seven oat(Avena sativa)varieties were comprehensively evaluated in Huajialing,Tongwei County in Gansu Province.The result showed that all the tested varieties performed a good adaptability to local environment and could mature in 107 days on average.The content of crude protein,β-glucan and crude fat in seeds changed significantly(P<0.05) among varieties.The highest β-glucan and crude fat contents of seed(3.35% and 6.58% respectively)were observed in Baiyan No.7.The crude protein content of sweet oat seed was the highest(5.39%).The principal component analysis was applied by using 9 parameters and the contribution rate of 3 principal component factors reached 92.577%.Baiyan No.7 had the lowest comprehensive score;the top three were sweet oats,Longyan No.2 and Ganyin No.1 which were the suitable varieties for the research region. |
