摘    要:2010年4月24-25日甘肃河西走廊地区出现了自2001年以来强度最强、影响地域最广的一次区域性强沙尘暴天气。为了进一步探讨这次强沙尘暴形成的物理机制,文中采用NCEP/NCAR1°×1°每天4次再分析资料,计算了沙尘暴出现之前和出现时的垂直螺旋度、高空急流、垂直速度、涡度平流、温度平流等物理量。通过分析得出:出现沙尘暴时垂直螺旋度存在着上负下正的分布特征,更加有利于强对流天气的发生;高空强急流带呈南北向的分布,是引导北方强冷空气南下的主要因素;低层垂直速度的不断增大为大气上升运动提供了较好的动力条件;正涡度平流的合理配置,促使冷槽加深发展;低层冷温度平流的增强,使得地面冷高压强度加强。各物理量场的这些特征,为今后沙尘暴天气的预报提供启示和参考。

Abstract:The dust storm weather with the broadest range and the most powerful intensity since 2001 occurred on April 24 and 25,2010 in Hexi Corridor of Gansu.In order to explore further the mechanism for this dust storm,we made use of reanalysis gird data of NECP/NCAR for 4 times a day,calculated the vertical helicity,upper level jet stream,vertical velocity,vorticity and temperature advection et al before the sand storm appearance and at the time its appearence.Through the analysis of this indices we know that the distribution of helicity over the sandstorm area was negative at higher levels and positive at lower levels,in this situation more severe convective weather would occur.The upper level jet stream was distributed in N-S-trending stripes which was the main factor affecting the north strong cold air rapidly moving southwardly.Vertical velocity of the lower-level was growing larger which probably provided very favourable conditions for uplift movement of atmosphere.Reasonable deployment of the positive vorticity advection caused cold trough strengthened.Cold temperature advection of lower-level growing caused the surface high pressures strengthened.The characteristics of physics field can provide some references for future forecast of the sandstorm weather.
