| Abstract: | One reason for the great energy consumption of lumber drying is the great exhaust heat loss and the lower coefficient of energy utilization in conventional steam drying. Both dehumidification and solar energy are good methods of energy saving for drying. This paper briefs the research result. It expounded the component parts and operating principle of the combination drying equipment, technical features and test data. Finally the paper gives some appraisals and proposals for this kind of drying technique of energy saving. |
