| Abstract: | This study of dodders (Cuscuta chinensis and C. australis) control on soybean was conduted from 1981 to 1987.Five dosages were tested during seven soybean''s growing periods.It was proved that at the begining of the soybean''s flowering period,to spray butralin solution(0.18-0.72mg/m2 a.i.) upon the leaves and stems for one time,the percentage of preventability over dodders that have touched soy plant reached 100%,and the percentage was 80%.Besides,there was no harmful effect on the germination percentage and quality (quantity of fat and protein) of soya seeds.The butralin residue in soya seed was less than 0.2ppm.This technique has been applied in 20000 hectares already. |
