| Abstract: | The paper reviewed the current biotechnology application in bamboo breeding, including bamboo tissue culture and cell engineering, molecular marker, flowering in vitro, genetic transform and gene engineering. In view of the status of biotechnology research, hotspots and development direction of bamboo plant research were proposed. |
