Abstract:Wheel hub as one of the important parts of the automobile has a great impact on the comfort.It not only bears the weight of the vehicle,but also bears the horizontal force produced by the rotation of the tire and the impact of road excitation and other alternating loads.Using SolidWorks model of automobile wheel hub,first of all,perform force and modal analysis in ANSYS for steel and aluminum wheels respectively,find out the inherent frequency and vibration model of the wheel hub,compare the analysis results,make the wheel structure avoid to produce resonance,so as to improve the stability of the wheel hub,and to improve the car's comfort.Due to the excellent performance of aluminum alloy,on the basis of the original,the size of the hub was reasonably optimized.The optimization analysis results show that the mass of the hub is reduced,on the premise of ensuring the reliability of the strength of the hub,the hub lightweight is realized.
