Breeding and Application of a New two-line Hybrid Rice combination Xinliangyou 2172 |

| Abstract: | Xinliangyou 2172 is a new two-line hybrid rice variety developed with Xinqiang 01s as female parent and R2172 as male parent by Anhui Winall Thriving SeedS Co., Ltd. The combination took part in the regional and production tests of the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River indica late maturity group, showing the characteristics of high yield, good rice quality, good comprehensive resistance and suitable maturing period, etc. In 2018, the combination was approved by the National crop Variety Accreditation Committee. Validation number is National review rice 20180082. The breeding process, characteristics, cultivation and seed production techniques were introduced. |
