| Abstract: | Drying is the first step in the process of Chinese herbal medicine,which determines the quality of Chinese herbal medicine. According to the ancient documents,research papers and results of drying technology in recent years,traditional drying methods and modern drying technology of Chinese herbal medicine were summarized. Problems existed in the drying of Chinese herbal medicine were discussed. The relationship between odor and medicinal material during drying and the loss of the pharmacodynamics material were also analyzed. It was pointed out that microwave drying could solve these problems based on odor detection. |
