浙江天童常绿阔叶林米槠种子雨和地表种子库动态研究

摘    要:2008年在浙江天童山常绿阔叶林的林缘和林内2个米槠种群中各选择3株米槠(Castanopsis carlesii),采用种子筐及地表取样等方法,分析了米槠种子雨和地表种子库动态特征、种子存留及其命运。结果表明:米槠种子雨主要出现在10月中旬—11月,持续约50 d,11月3日—17日为高峰期;该地区米槠的种子产量较高,林缘种群高于林内种群,单株平均落果数分别为201.0、120.3个.m-2;种子雨中完好的坚果占52.2%,虫蛀的占29.3%,松鼠啃食的占10.2%,败育的占8.4%,腐烂的占5%;完好种子的长度、宽度分别为(9.01±0.89)mm、(9.25±1.00)mm,粒重为(0.47±0.13)g;在地表种子库中,林缘种群、林内种群完好种子的存留密度分别为1.5、1.0个.m-2,分别占种子库的62.1%、66.4%,动物捕食是种子受损的主要原因。米槠种群较高的种子产量、较低的地表种子存留率等环节限制了米槠种群的天然更新。

Abstract:In the study,there were 3 individuals of Castanopsis carlesii chosen and tagged,respectively at the edge and the center of evergreen broad-leaved forest in Tiantong National Forest Park,Zhejiang Province.Seed traps were set up to analyze dynamic of seed rain and seed bank of C.carlesii population in 2008.The results showed that:seed rain of C.carlesii occured from October 11 to November 30,lasting for 50 d and the amount of the seed rain reached the peak from end of October to mid-November,had the relative high yield;C.carlesii at the edge yield had higher seed productivity than in the center,and there were 201.0 and 120.3 seeds·m-2 gathered,respectively at the edge and in the center of the forest.The amount of the intact seeds accounted for 52.2% of total seeds,moth-eaten seeds accounted for 29.3%,seeds eaten by squirrels accounted for 10.2%,abortive seeds accounted for 8.4%,5% were decayed.The length and width of the intact seeds were 9.01±0.89 mm and 9.25±1.00 mm,respectively.And the grain weight of the intact seeds were of 0.47±0.13 g.At the surface seed bank,the density of intact seeds were 1.5 and 1.0 m-2,respectively at the edge and in the center.Animals predation was the main reason for the two groups,accounted for 62.1% and 66.4% of total loss amount;Although the two populations of C.carlesii had high seed yields,but low remaining rates of the seeds at the surface limited the regeneration of C.carlesii population.
