翻译教学的格式塔诠释

摘    要:翻译教学是英语专业教学中不可或缺的重要环节。翻译教学的目的在于培养学生综合的翻译能力,包括双语语言能力、跨文化交际能力以及转换能力等。格式塔理论包含一系列的基本原则,揭示了人们认识感知事物时普遍的心理规律。从格式塔理论的“整体”原则、“闭合”原则以及“同构”原则人手,阐述翻译教学应着重培养学生的整体翻译理念,作为翻译主体的能动性和创造性以及良好的感悟力等。

On Teaching of Translation from the Perspective of the Gestalt Theory

Abstract:Being an indispensably important procedure in the teaching of English to English majors, the teaching of translation is intended to foster students' comprehensive translation competence, inclu- ding abilities in bilingual languages, in inter-cultural communication and in their transformation etc. The Gestalt Theory, which consists of a series of cardinal principles, reveals the general cognitive laws when people try to cognize things. The paper, along with the principles of holism, closure, and isomorphism, elucidates teaching of translation should be aimed to cultivate students' holistic transla- tion awareness, foster students' initiatives in translation, and nurture students' emotional and cogni- tive aptitude.
