| Abstract: | This paper mainly Proved the data of the ear number and the ear size in the different level of yields in'Mienyang No,11' wheat. Results indicated that yield was affected by the ear number mainly when the yield per mu was lower than 700 or700—800 jin per mu. with the number of ears being constant, when the yield was over 800 jin per mu the effect of ear size on yield was orearer than the ear number. Therefore to raise the yield in wheat we should chiefly increase the ear number when the yield is lower than 700 or 700—800 jin per mu; while, when the yield is over 800 jin per mu we should try to improve ear size mainly. |
