| Abstract: | China Academy of Sciences convened the first symposium on Chinese history of natural sciences from July 9 to 12,1956.Three groups were divided including agriculture and biology,medi- cine and mathematics and astronomy.This paper backdates the courses and related issues experienced in the group of agriculture and biology,and explicate the significance and impact of this symposium. |
