| Abstract: | Two typies of bulb rot have been observed in Fritillaria hypehensis. The former is caused by the dominative plant pathogentic fungus Fusarium oxysporum, and the later by bacterium Erwinia carotovora pv. carotovora Dye. The disease often occurs one month after sowing. The main factors which affect the disease development are the bulb quality, the soil characteristics, the wound caused by pests and the climatic conditions. Applying fungicide carbendazim and adjusting the sowing time are the most effective measures to control the disease. |
