Abstract:In order to make reasonable and efficient use of forage millet,solve the problem of the shortage of livestock feed,and explore high-quality silage fermentation technology of forage millet,the'118'variety from milk ripening period was used as raw material,the control (CK),Lactobacillus plantarum plant group (LP),sucrose group (S),cellulase group (CE) and its combination were set.After 60 d of silage,its nutrient composition,fermentation index,and microbial number were determined.The results showed that different silage additives had significant effects on dry material,crude protein,neutral washing fibers,and soluble carbohydrate content of the'118'species (P <0.05).The silage additive effectively reduced the pH of the'118'cultivar,increased the number of attached lactic acid bacteria,and increased the lactic acid and acetate content;the pH of the mixed treatment group of L.flora and cellulase was reduced to 4.05 and the lactate and acetate content was higher than the other treatment groups.The comprehensive evaluation used the gray correlation method,the LP+CE and LP+S groups were the best.In conclusion,compound promoters of lactobacillus plant and cellulase,lactobacillus plant,and sucrose all improved the fermentation quality of fed millet silage.
