摘    要:In this paper,the penalty element stiffness matrix of linkage of plates and shells is deduced accrding to the principle of the penalty elementmethod.This stiffness matrix can be also used for a linkage between shells andsolids.It is of some practical value in the finite element calculations of engineeringstructure.
