| Abstract: | Objective]The aim of this study was to understand the resource status of ancient and famous trees in Deqing County,and put forward the protection countermeasures.Method]The ancient and famous trees resources in Deqing County of Guangdong Province were investigated through literature search,interviews,and onsite investigations.Result]The survey results showed that there were 249 ancient and famous trees in Deqing County of Guangdong Province.Among them,the firstclass ancient trees accounted for 1.6%,the secondclass ancient trees accounted for 11.6%,and the thirdclass ancient trees accounted for 86.8%.The age structure was pyramidshaped.The growth status of old trees was good,and the overall growth environment was poor.Old trees with good growth environment account for 42.5%of the total number of trees,and medium and poor old trees account for 57.5%of the total number of trees.Conclusion]The resources and growth status of ancient and famous trees in Deqing County were analyzed,and the management and protection measures were put forward,which provided the basis for the protection and utilization of local ancient and famous trees resources. |
