| Abstract: | The results of this study on th relationship between the sunlight and the fruiting of persimmon trees(Diospyros kaki L.)are summarised as follows: 1.The number of the mother bearing branch and the number of the fruiting branch are in direct proportion to the sunlight intensity,but the lengh of these two kinds of branchs is in inverse proportion to the sunlight intensity. 2.The number of fruit,total output,the weight of average fruit, the transverse diameter of fruit,and the soluble solids content of fruit are in direct proportion to the sunlight intensity,but the colouring of the fruit is out of proportion to the sunlight intensity. |
