| Abstract: | By hydroxyphenylation and hydromethylation. adhesives for plywood were prepared from phenol formaldehyde and straw alkali lignin (separated from pulp black liquor), dilute sulfuric acid hydrolysis lignin using concentrated sulfuric acid hydrolysis lignin for comparison. The experiments include selection of conditions of activating lignin and pressing of plywood etc. The properties of adhesives prepared under different conditions were analysed and compared. Experimental results showed that the adhesion properties of the adhesives were improved and the lignin contents in phenolic resins were increased. Consequently, the technology for using each kind of the selected lignins has been established. |
