| Abstract: | Pingliangtianyu 1 was a new sweet corn variety bred by crossing with the parental combined corn inbred line 99（2）-1-1-0-0-1 as female parent with inbred line 99（1）-1-1-1-0-1（coded 03001） as male parent by Pingliang Institute of Agricultural Science.In 2005—2007,the average yield of fresh ears of Pingliangtianyu 1 was 23 283.5 kg/hm^2 and 11.4% higher than of the check Suitian 1 in the corn variety comparative test in Gansu.The results showed that seed grain content of Vc,crude fat,crude starch,crude starch,lysine,moisture,total soluble sugar were 183.5 mg/kg,83.2 g/kg,462.9 g/ kg,4.68 g/kg,70.0%,253.9 g/kg,respectively.In addition,The variety was high resistance to head smut,smut tumor,leaf blight,dwarf mosaic virus and leaves leaves.It is suitable to plant in the region river water and fertilizer-rich dryland at an altitude of 1 500 m below. |
