摘    要:根据反应彩色图像颜色信息的正交特性,利用最大方差自动取阈法对该正交特性图像进行分割,可快速识别出在不同光线下采集到的红色成熟番茄。对于实现番茄的自动采摘具有现实意义。

Tomato Identification Technique Based on Computer Vision Using MATLAB

Abstract:In this paper, a new method was presented to discriminate red tomatoes from nature background based on computer vision technology. Tomato images were taken by CCD camera in the nature surrounding and a set of personal computer was used to deal with the pictures acquired. The methods used to discriminate red fruits from background were based on quadrature chrominance characters by using the OSTU threshold method, which could get a satisfactory segmentation. To verify the feasibility of the approach, the research developed an algorithm using Matlab software. Result showed the algorithm met the need of automation in agricultural engineering.
