| Abstract: | The intensity of lipid peroxidation and state of the enzymatic and nonenzymatic links of the antioxidant system in dry and lactating high-producing cows are studied in dynamics of the prepartum and postpartum periods. It is established that the physiological stress of pregnancy and birth is accompanied by the increased formation and accumulation of products of free-radical oxidation of lipids and low potential of the antioxidant system. |
