Abstract:An experiment was conducted to research the activities of arginine decarboxylase(ADC),ornithine decarboxylase(ODC),diamine oxidase(DAO) and polyamine oxidase(PAO) in leaves of both Citrus unshiu and C.grandis to regulate endogenous polyamines of citrus.The results showed that the polyamine biosynthetic pathway in C.unshiu mainly depended on ornithine pathway and the polyamine decomposition DAO pathway.However,in C.grandis,the polyamine biosynthetic pathway depended on arginine pathway and the polyamine deco...
