| Abstract: | Wuke 3 was a new corn variety bred by crossing with the parental combined corn self inbred line 3194 as female parent with self inbred line 9211 as male parent by Wuwei institute of Agricultural Sciences in 2003. In 2007-2008, the average yield of Wuke 3 was 12 940.5 kg/hm2 and 2.8% higher than of the check Yuyu 2 at thirteen places in the Corn Variety regional test in Gansu. The results showed that the seed grain （dry basis） content of crude protein, crude starch, crude fat, moisture, lysine, ask were 112.5 g / kg, 743.3 g / kg, 43.0g / kg, 9.24%, 3.31 g / kg, 15.5 g / kg, respectively. In addition, Wuke 3 was high resistance to base rot diseas, moderate resistance leaf blight, common smut and red leaf virus. It is suitable for the cultivation of the region 2 700 - 2 900 %2 of Gansu Hexi Areas and the middle and East China, dwarf mosaic virus the unpopular area. |
