| Abstract: | Basing on the effectiveness of stockbreeding technological activities, this paper applies DEA model to evaluate the success of the stockbreeding Science & Technology Developing Strategies implemented by the HeBei province. On one side, from the DEA analysis of the Outputs & Inputs of stockbreeding Science & Technology between 2000 and 2007, a conclusion is drawn that, in HeBei,for most years, stockbreeding technological productions have been comparatively effective, however, with constant even decreasing returns to scale. On the other side, another analysis is conducted of the stockbreeding technological key projects undertaken during “the eleventh five”period in HeBei, to reveal the DEA characters of different projects. Eventually, several propositions and policies are derived for the improvements of stockbreeding strategies. |
