| Abstract: | Based on the information from American satellite IKONOS in 2008,a comprehensive investigation was conducted on wetland resources in Jiangdu City by 3S technology and field survey.The types,total area,distribution,average elevation,vegetation type,dominanted plants and animal species,land ownership,protection and management status and so on of wetland resources in Jiangdu City were studied in this paper.The paper also analyzed the present wetland resources uses and management status,and its main problems.Meanwhile,some suggestions were put forward to protect and use the wetland resources in Jiangdu City. |
