| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体，是特定思维方式的浓缩。汉英民族分属于东西两大不同文化体系，因而汉英两种语言之间的差异源于两个民族深层次的思维方式的不同。意合的语言结构与综合性的思维方式是汉语表达的主要特征。本文从这一特点入手，对中国的英语学习者英文写作中的意合与综合性倾向作了初步的探讨。

| Abstract: | Language, a carrier of culture, is the crystallization of the corresponding way of thinking. Chinese and English, belonging to eastern and western cultural systems respectively, reveal several differences between each other. This paper, based upon their difference in syntax and thinking mode, attempts to make a tentative research into the parataxical and synthetical tendency in English writing. |
