| Abstract: | The concept of crop water requirements was discussed, based on which the calculation model of crop water requirements was established. Based on crop, soil and meteorological data, the water requirements of major dry crops in northern China, including wheat, maize, millet, sweet potato and potato, were calculated, and the patterns of water requirements of these crops were revealed and discussed in this paper. |
