| 摘 要： | 近代自然科学的诞生是人类文明史上的一次大飞跃。东方文明古国——中国,其科学技术在过去数千年中曾经遥遥领先于欧洲。为什么近代自然科学产生于曾经是科技沙漠的欧洲,而没有产生于中国?从思维方式、意识形态、政治制度、经济基础、地理环境等方面对其原因进行了分析。并提出了以史为鉴的观点及今后我国科技发展中应当注意的几个问题。

| Abstract: | The emergence of modern natural science was a great leap in the history of human civilization. China, an oriental civilized country with ancient civilization, has in almost 1000 years stayed far ahead of Europe in the aspect of science and technology. But why has mot modern science first emerged in China? This question has been puzzling many people for a long time. In this paper, the authors analyze the issue from the angles of the mode of thinking, the realm of ideology, the system of politics, etc.. The paper then offers some suggestions for the development of science and technology in the future. |
