摘    要:目的]介绍广西甘蔗优良品种桂糖23号的选育过程和主要特征特性,为甘蔗杂交育种和推广种植提供参考。方法]广西甘蔗研究所以早熟、高糖、高产品种"新台糖1号"(ROC1)为母本,以宿根性好、抗病性强、含野生种质的"崖城71-374"为父本,进行系统杂交选育而成了一个甘蔗优良品种。对该品种进行品比试验、区域试验及国家级新品种区域试验,并在不同生态区域进行生产试验。结果]桂糖23号具有中熟、高产、高糖、稳产、宿根性好、高抗黑穗病、高抗花叶病、抗寒、抗旱、适应性广等特性。结论]桂糖23号性状优良,2005年3月通过国家甘蔗品种鉴定委员会鉴定,是值得推广的甘蔗优良品种。

Study on the Breeding and Characteristics of Recommended Variety Guitang No.23 of Sugarcane

Abstract:Objective]Described the breeding process and the main characteristics of the recommended variety Guitang No.23 of Sugarcane in Guangxi,which could provided the valuable reference for Sugarcane cross-breeding and commercial planting in production.Method] Guitang No.23 was selected from the crossing between ROC1 and Yacheng 71-374 by Guangxi Sugarcane Research Institute.As the female parent,ROC1 had the desirable characteristics of early maturity,high cane yield and high sucrose content.As the male parent,Yacheng 71-374 had the desirable characteristics of strong rooting ability and strong disease resistance,which contained the wild germplasm.The variety has passed comparative trial,regional trial and national regional test,and pilot test was performed in different ecological region.Result] The results of planting test showed that Guitang No.23 had the desirable characteristics of medium maturing,high cane yield,high sucrose content,stable yields,strong perennial ability,mosaic and smut resistance,cold and drought tolerance,and wide adaptabifity.Conclusion] Guitang No.23 was approved by the National Variety Committee in march 2005 for its excellent characters,therefore,it is worthy to be promoted as the recommended variety of sugarcane.
