Abstract:The structure and function of protein encoded by NRAMP1 gene in Holstein cattle were studied in order to study the disease resistance of cattle, In this study, we analyzed and predicted the physical and chemical properties,hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity, signal peptide transmembrane domain, transmembrane domain, N-glycosylation site and phosphorylation site, secondary structure, and tertiary structure of protein and protein interaction of the protein encoded by NRAMP1 gene of Holstein cattle by bioinformatics analysis. The results showed that NRAMP1 was an unstable hydrophobic protein with a total length of 548 amino acids and an isoelectric point of 6.39. The secondary structure is mainly composed of α-helix and random coil, with 41 potential phosphorylation sites and 1 N-glycosylation site. And there are related proteins. The results of this study have certain theoretical significance for further study of NRAMP1 gene in Holstein cattle.
