小麦幼苗干旱逆境蛋白与抗旱性关系的研究

摘    要:干旱逆境蛋白是热稳定蛋白,因此热稳定蛋白可能与抗旱性有关。在本试验中小麦幼苗热稳定蛋白含量在干旱胁迫初期随相对含水量下降而下降,后期随相对含水量的进一步下降而升高,较抗旱的品种Kite在胁迫初期热稳定蛋白含量下降幅度较小。35S标记试验表明在干旱胁迫期间小麦幼苗有蛋白质合成,但用SDS-PAGE凝胶电脉只从干旱胁迫后期相对含水量已降到50%以下的Kite样品中分离出1种大量产生的23.5KD新蛋白。因此,在干旱胁迫下小麦新产生的蛋白可能与干旱胁迫前期的抗旱性无关,而与后期的抗严重脱水能力有关。

Abstract:Drought stress proteins are heat stable,therefore the heat stable proteins (HSP s) are possibly related to drought resistance.In this study,wheat seedling's HSP contents reduced as plant's relative water contents (RWC)declined at the early stage of drought stress,and increased as RWC dropped furtherly at the late stage.The HSP contents in Kite,which is more resistant to drought,declined moderately at the early stage of drought stress. 35 S labeled experiment showed that proteins were synthesized in seedlings during the drought stress,but only one new protein of 23.5 KD was separated with SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis from kite's sample in which RWC was below 50%.Therefore the new protein was possibly only related to the wheat tolerance to severe dehydration at the late stage of stress,but not related to the resistance to drought at the early stage of stress.
