| Abstract: | The characteristics and categories of microbial ecological agents, and their mechanism of action such as maintaining animal health and promoting animal growth are summarized. The application and prospect of microbial ecological agents in enhancing immunization, preventing disease, increasing digestibility and improving the production environment are discussed. |
