婆罗门牛与本地黄牛杂交效果研究初报

摘    要:作者引用美国婆罗门牛(Brahman)与本地黄牛进行杂交试验,取得明显的效果。对24月龄婆杂牛的生长发育,肉用性能进行测定,结果表明:其体重、体高、体斜长、胸围和管围分别比同龄本地牛提高83.7%、24.2%、27.3%、22.3%和43.0%。胴体重125.0kg,净肉重97.6kg,屠宰率51.31%,净肉率40.05%,胴体产肉率78.06%,眼肌面积63.71cm~2,分别比本地牛提高73.37%85.77%、15.98%、23.42%、6.88%和78.91%。经 t 检验差异达极显著水平(P<0.01)。对肉的成分分析表明,婆杂牛与本地牛肉的粗蛋白质含量相近,但干物质、热能及必需氨基酸含量前者更高,说明婆杂牛比本地牛具有更高的食用价值。

Abstract:A trial of crossbreeding with American Brahman and Northern Fujian Yellow Cattle was conducted.The result indicates that the crossbred off- springs have apparent hybrid vigor (heterosis)either in body comformation or in growth rate and beef performance.As the crossbred offsprings rea- ched 24 months of age,their body weight,heights at withere,length of body,heart girth,and circumference of caunon bone increased 83.7%, 24.2%,21.3%,22.3,%,and 43.0% respectively as compared with the na- tive cattle of the same age.A slaughter test was carried out on 4 Brahman hybrid bullocks of 2 years old and 4 native cattle of the same age who had not been fattened and were raised in pasture condition,The results are as follows.The average carcase weight of Brahman hybrid is 125.0kg;the net beef weight is 97.6kg;the slaghter persentage is 51.31%;the net beef percentage is 40.05%;the carcase beef production rate is 78.06% and the eye muscle area is 63.71cm.These indices are 73.37%,85.77%,15.98%,23.42%, 6.88% and 78.91% high0er respectively than those in native cattle.The test differences are significant (P<0.01).The chemical analysis of beef de- monscrates that the gross protein content of beef in both Brahman hybrid and native cattle are similar.However,the former has higher contents of dry matter,energy and the essential amino acids.That is to say that the Brahman hybrid possesses not only a higher beef production rate but also a good quality of beef,because of more amino acids.This trial has drown a primary conclusion that the beef from Brahman hybrid has higher edibility value than that from native cattle.
