| Abstract: | The stocks of silver and bighead carps are assessed by the Dynamic Pool Model in this paper,In addition,the rational stocking and exploitation are also discussed.The technical calculation andchart are computationally processed by adoption of von Bertalanffy's growth equations and Beverton-Molt Models.The results show:1)The growth equations;silver carp: bighead carp:The turning points of body weight and growth are 4.94 years in silver carp and 4.21 years in bighead carp.2)The mortality coefficients:silvercarp:bigheadcarp:3)If the first capture age of the two stocks are both 4.0 years,and the fishing mortality coefficient is 0.80 in silver carp and 0.60 in bighead carp,the yields will rise 14.64% and 37.76% respectively.4)The rational stock length is decided by the oral fissures of dominant length groups in whitefish (Erythroculter ilishaeformis).If the full lengths are over 15.31 cm in silver carp and over 14.35 cm in bighead,the whitefish would do no harm to them. |
