| Abstract: | When the absence of organic solvents or halogenated/hydrocarbon propellants are desirable or mandatory in applying pyrethroids for typical institutional or household disinsection, emulsifiable concentrates are available that permit aqueous dilution in all proportions to provide transparent, indefinitely stable compositions suitable for non-pressurised delivery. The system is equally applicable to synergised natural pyrethrins and typical synthetic pyrethroids. The compositions can accommodate additives to provide economic residual action against crawling insects when desirable. Typical products registered in the United States will be discussed as will development activities on the new long residual pyrethroids. |
