| 摘 要： | 介绍了教学研究型大学的本质特征，教学研究型大学图书馆的特点，并提出了建设西部地区教学研究型大学图书馆的对策：建立符合本校学科发展与规划要求的文献资源保障系统、提高馆员素质教育、建立学科馆员制度、提高信息服务方式，更好地为西部地区教学研究型大学的教学和科研服务。
