摘    要:利用常规资料和美国NCEP再分析资料,分析2008年1月湖南所遭遇的50年一遇的持续性低温雨雪冰冻天气过程。分析发现,长时间维持的中高纬亚欧大陆西高东低的环流形势为雨雪冰冻天气提供了冷空气活动条件;西太平洋副热带高压的偏强偏北和南支槽的旺盛发展和维持有利于暴雪区的水汽输送和辐合;高层强辐散与低层强辐合的耦合形势以及强上升运动为暴雪的发生发展提供了有利的动力背景。深厚而稳定的对流层中层逆温层和低层冷层的存在是大范围冻雨出现的直接原因。

Analysis of Two Snowstorm Events during Continuous Rain-snow-ice Weather in January 2008
Abstract:Based on the routine observational data and the data of NCEP reanalysis,continuous rain-snow-ice weather event in Hunan Province on January 2008 was analyzed.Results showed that the circulation features of west-height and east-low in the mid-high latitude of Eurasia persisted in each January,which offered cold-air mass conditions for the rain-snow-ice weather.The western Pacific subtropical high was abnormally stronger and located more northward,as well as the Indian and Burma trough(IBT) in the south side of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau was quite active and steady.These were favorable to the transport and convergence of water vapor in the heavy snow region.The erectness of coupling pattern between upper-layer divergence area and low-layer convergence area and the existence of stronger ascending movement provided favorable dynamic conditions for the occurrence and development of heavy snow.The thick and steady inversion layer in the mid tropospheric and low-layer cold layer were the direct cause of large-scale frozen rain.
