| 摘 要： | 竹类植物是中国古典园林的重要造园元素。本文以2011年西安世界园艺博览会＂大师园＂的园林作品为例,解读了竹子和竹材在现代园林中的应用形式和象征意义。指出在现代园林中,竹子和竹材成为了代表＂东方＂的一种文化符号,体现着闲适的东方休闲情趣,是生命的象征,并具有不可替代的园林景观功能。竹子和竹材已经越来越成为连接现代与传统、融合西方与东方的园林材料。

| Abstract: | Bamboo is the vital gardening element in Chinese classical gardens. Taking Master Garden in Xi’an World Horticulture Exhibition 2011 as an example, the paper interpreted the application form and symbolic significance of bamboo in modern gardening. It was pointed out that bamboo is a cultural symbol of orientation, a reflection of oriental leisure and temperament and a sign of life in modern gardening, with an irreplaceable landscaping function. Bamboo has become the gardening component connecting modernity and tradition and the Occident and the Orient as well. |
