摘    要:为发掘应用新的大麦矮秆突变体,以大麦品种秀麦3号辐照诱变的矮秆突变体m1062为材料,分析该矮秆突变体的株高、穗长、穗粒数、单株穗数、抽穗期、百粒质量和单株产量等重要农艺性状,以明确其矮化效应及应用价值。结果表明,该突变体株高降低26.77~28.11 cm,各茎节长和穗长都有不同程度降低;穗粒数和单株穗数增加,抽穗期推迟,百粒质量降低,但对单株产量没有负面影响。色素含量测定结果表明,突变体m1062叶绿素和类胡萝卜素含量都明显增加。遗传分析表明,该突变体受隐性单基因控制。本结果可为矮秆突变体m1062的育种应用、基因克隆和功能研究奠定基础。

Abstract:To explore and apply new barley dwarf mutants, the barley dwarf mutant m1062 induced from the barley variety Xiumai No.3 by60 Co γ-ray was assessed for its major agronomic characters such as plant height, spike length, grain number per spike, spike number per plant, heading date, 100 grain weight, and single plant grain yield. The results showed that the dwarf mutant m1062 had a reduction by 26.77 to 28.11 cm in plant height and stronger lodging resistance as compared with the wild type Xiumai No. 3. In addition, the internode and spike length of the mutant also decreased significantly, its heading date was delayed by 5-6 days, and its100 grain weight also dropped. On the other hand, it showed increases in grain number per spike and spike number per plant.Moreover, the mutation had no negative effect on single plant grain yield. Furthermore, the genetic analysis indicated that the dwarf mutant m1062 was controlled by a single recessive nuclear gene. The analysis of photosynthetic pigments in leaves showed that the contents of chlorophyll and carotenoid in mutant m1062 increased significantly compared with those in Xiumai No. 3. The results of this study can lay a foundation for breeding application, gene cloning, and functional research of the dwarf mutant m1062.
