| Abstract: | By adopting the experiences of culturihg high-yielding Phyllostachyspubescens forests for bamboo shoots in various areas, the technical measures usedfor the secondary mixed forests of Ph. pubescens and trees in Shunchang Countyare as follows: felling trees and leaving Ph. pubescens: deeply tilling and improv-ing soils; applying fertilizers in due time: leaving bamboo shoots and raisingPh. pubescens: selectively felling Ph. pubescens in a reasonable way; and improv-ing stand structures. Marked successes in increasing the yields of bamboo shootsand Ph. pubecoens have been obtained due to the above-mentioned technical mea-sures. |
