Abstract:The activity of SOD and content of MDA are two physiological and biochemical indexes in close relation to resisitance of plant. In order to probe the influence of electrostatic field on the activity of SOD and content of MDA in tissue - cultured seedlings of strawberry, the experiment was conducted. The tissue-cultured seedlings in bottle of variety "Minglei" were periodically radiated three times (once in a month and 30 minutes at one time)by using negative high-voltage flat electrostatic field with intensity of 71.4, 105.8, 139.9 and 173.9kV/m. Then, the activity of SOD and the content of MDA in function leaves during tissue-cultured period, and nutrition pot period were determiner by using NBT and HEATH methods respectively. The results indicated that electrostatic field has the effect of in. creasing the activity of SOD and decreasing the content of MDA. The effect of the treatment of 105.8kV/m is best. It has been proved that the treatment of electrostatic field could increase the resistance of tissue-cultured seedlings of strawberry.
