| Abstract: | Pipelines with multiple outlets are used extensively in sprinkler and drip engineering .Themaximum allowable pressure head difference of the pipeline with multiple outlets will corre-spond to the acceptable range of pressures to assure the required outlet discharge uniformity.The maximum length of pipelines with multiple outlets is constant for a single diameterpipeline, in which the diameter is determined when the pressure head difference is in allowedrange of pressure,The maximum length of pipelines will be full utilized to reduce the capitalcost in planning pipe networks of sprinkler and drip irrigation systems. The variations ofpressure head are analysed in the closed end of multiplc outlets pipelines for the differentground slopes(down hill slope uphill slope and zero slope).The equations are procedured tocompute the maximum length of pipeline in the different ground slopes while variations ofpressure head restricted under allowable pressure head difference. |
