| Abstract: | This report briefly describes a new breeding approach developed from the 1980s' advances inthe shuttle breeding method for rice improvement. It has theoretically proved the efficiency of the shuttle breeding method and found selecting patterns. In practice, several varieties with different characteristics have been bred out using this method. Some of them are released. Its expectations are discussed in the report. |
