Abstract:Ensuring safety of transgenic animals and food could improve the development of transgenic animal food industry,which has important significance for solving resource shortage and lack of food,and promoting the sustainable development of national economy and other aspects.To ensure safety of transgenic animals and food must draw on advanced technology from developed country,and integrate innovation in the security evaluation technology system of transgenic animals and food to provide reliable technical support for safety detection of Chinese transgenic animals and food.Referring to some domestic and foreign literature in conjunction with author’s practice in the transgenic animals and food safety evaluation,the paper described the development trend of safety evaluation of domestic and international transgenic animals and food,their potential dangers and progress on transgenic animals and food safety evaluation technology to provide reference for establishing a mature transgenic animals and their food safety evaluation system in China.
