| Abstract: | Leiocassis longirostris Gunther is a famous freshwater fish species in China, which is of great economical significance in Yangtze River estuary fishery. The paper mainly deals with the growth, breeding, feeding habit and fishery status of the species. The protection and propagation of its resource are discussed as well. |
