| Abstract: | Soil compaction is an important cause of unhealthy growth of greening trees in urban area. It can be diagnosed directly by assessing physical and chemical indices of soil and trees, but special environment and high cost restrict its application. This paper puts forward an indirect diagnosing method. At first, the occurrence of soil compaction is determined by observation on vehicle transportation, then other pathogens are elinimated by reasoning. Finally, two cases were used to illustrate how to apply this method in practice. |
