摘    要:自春秋中期始,楚人牲、人殉习俗迅速发展,春秋晚期达到鼎盛,战国之世开始衰落。楚人牲包括三种形式,即献俘祭社、祭河神和奠基牲。根据殉人身份不同,楚人殉分为三类,妻妾从死、嬖宠从死和奴隶从死。与秦文化区相比,楚人牲、人殉习俗较为少见,这与楚国进步人士反对、人本主义思想的发展以及俑葬的兴起等相关。

Abstract:Starting from the early Spring and Autumn Period, the custom of human sacrifice and human sati in the regional culture of Chu developed quickly, reached its peak in the late Spring and Autumn Period, and then declined in Warring States Period. Human sacrifice in regional culture of Chu included three forms, devoting captives to the land of God, wielding the river of God and sacrifice for the foundation. According to different identity, human sati contained three forms, human sati by wives, human sati by favorite and human sati by slaves. Comparing to the regional culture of Qin, it is relatively rare to see the custom of human sacrifice and human sati in the regional culture of Chu, because of the opposition of liberal people, the effect of humanism and the rise of the custom of burial figures.
