甘蔗花叶病毒株系研究初报

摘    要:以甘蔗品种CP31/294、CP3 1/588和 Co281,甜高粱品种 Rio 和 Atlas 为鉴别寄主,测定出福建、广西主要蔗区甘蔗花叶病的10个供鉴病毒分离物中,有8个与 Abbott 鉴别系统描述的 SCMV-A 株系一致;1个与 SCMV-D 株系一致;1个与已知的14个株系都不相同,表现弱毒性,可能是新株系。应用辅助鉴别寄主甘蔗品种 F134,在鉴定为 SCMV-A 株系的8个分离物中,区分出一个新的分离物。

Abstract:Ten virus isolates from mosaic-infected sugarcane were identified with Abbott's strain differential host system of sugarcane mosaic virus (SCMV) in the provinces of Guangxi and Fujian,China.Among them,8 isolates produced the same symptoms as appeared in SCMV-A and one as appeared in.SCMV-D on the diagnostic sugarcane cultivars CP 31/294,CP 31/588, Co 281 and Sorghum vulgare cvs.Rio and Atlas.Still there was another one displayed lower infectivity and milder mosaic symptoms on all tested plants,including sugarcane cultivars and sweet sorghum.It seemed quite different to all 14 known strains and thus was speculated to be a new iso- late or strain of SCMV Tested with sugarcane cultivar F 134,2 groups were classified from 8 isolates identified as SCMV-A with Abbott's system according to their distinguishable symptoms on F 134.So we presented here a new strain or substrain of SCMV for recognition.
